At the rally, Gov. Kate Brown signed two bills: Senate Bill (SB) 1563, which allows undocumented students continued access to lower tuition, scholarships and financial aid; and House Bill (HB) 4111, which permits DACA and Temporary Protected Status recipients to renew and replace their driver’s licenses despite recent changes to the federal immigration policies which would restrict these activities.
